ABOUT
THE
WORK
For as long as I can remember, the call to create has been there, quiet but constant. For the last five years I gave everything to my clients and let my own ideas wait. They’ve waited long enough. This is where I stop keeping them waiting.
I go out and look. At patterns, colors, shapes, how one small thing leans against another. That’s where wonder lives for me, in the noticing, when my thoughts stop narrowing and start opening back up. I photograph to hold onto that feeling, and I share the photographs hoping some of that wonder finds you too.
This is where those ideas live now. Not the client work. This is what happens when I finally sit down and collaborate with them.
Selected Works
The current body of work is under the name Beautiful Seijaku. Seijaku, stillness. Silence that has weight to it, not absence but presence of quiet.
The first project is The Returning: The Garden Weeks.
Also part of this is a past project called The Modern Mystic’s Journey, that documented my trip to Turkey, Greece and Italy.
As new projects and ideas develop check back here to explore.
The Returning : The Garden Weeks
The Returning : The Garden Weeks is a slow correspondence in letters and photographs, sixteen weeks at Kenilworth Gardens. Part of Beautiful Seijaku project.
The Modern Mystic's Journey
Photos and Journal entries from my trip to Türkiye, Greece and Italy. This project includes exclusive content for my patrons on Patreon.
